A heath land golfing challenge could easily describe West Mon.  With spectacular views over both the Brecon Beacons and the Sugar Loaf Mountain, this privately owned course combines great interest with testing golf. On the highest tees at the top of the course it is worth stopping for a moment and looking around, because whatever time of year you play, the views are breathtaking.

By modern standards the course is still of good length at 6118 yards, and the degree of difficulty and enjoyable walking make it ideal for golfers of all abilities. Considerable improvements in design over the past few years have made the course both difficult and enjoyable to play. Three of the toughest par 3s you can find anywhere really test the discerning golfer. At the end of the round the Club’s bar is open to all. Prices are good value and certainly the daily specials and promotions are to be commended. During the year, the Course hosts many Open and Corporate functions.
